The Re vase is signed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Venini. A hand-made blown glass vase. The neck of the Re vase is embellished with overlapping metallic leaves and the lower part is satin-finished, recalling the crowns of noble figures in history.

Lattimo is an opaque white glass, invented in Murano around the mid-15th century with the aim of imitating the first porcelains that were very fashionable in Europe. Opaline glass had its fortune in the 1930s, from which the Opalini collection born in the 1930s to 1935s, called "lattimi", also takes its name.
It is obtained by overlapping the milk glass with a glass or more thin transparent and colored glasses, obtaining splendid objects with intense and bright colours. To embellish softly colored glass, gold and silver leaves are included on the entire surface, obtaining precious "golden" objects.
