The Royal Copenhagen annual collections have been created every year since 1908. The relief of the decoration is hand -elaborated by the most skilled artists, starting from the ideal design and subsequently modeled according to artisan traditions that are handed down over the years.
This subject was designed and sculpted by Allan Therkelsen.

It is Christmas Eve at Frederiksborg Castle and snowy pebbles, the glow of the street lamps captures the sparkling eyes of the two cats of the castle. The annual Christmas dish Royal Copenhagen was handmade and issued every year since 1908. Also this year, the annual Christmas dish is accompanied by a statuette.
