This year's Bing & Grøndahl Christmas Platter features Den Gamle By in Aarhus, an open-air museum showcasing elements of Danish history and lifestyle since the 1500s. The detailed design brings Danish history to life with snow-capped buildings and cobbled streets, where a parent and child bring home a Christmas tree.
The annual Bing & Grondahl collections have been created every year since 1908. The relief of the decoration is elaborated by hand by the most skilled artists, starting from the creator's design and subsequently modeled according to artisan traditions that have been handed down over the years.
