The annual Royal Copenhagen collections have been created every year since 1908. The relief of the decoration is elaborated by hand by the most skilled artists, starting from the creator's drawing and subsequently modeled according to artisan traditions that have been handed down over the years.
This subject was designed and sculpted by Allan Therkelsen.
The Frederiksborg Castle – Frederiksborg Castle
It's Christmas Eve at Frederiksborg Castle and on the snow-covered cobblestones, the glow of the street lamps catches the twinkling eyes of the two castle cats. The Royal Copenhagen annual Christmas plate has been handmade and issued every year since 1908. This year too, the annual Christmas plate is accompanied by a figurine.
