The Lacco is an opaque white glass, invented to Murano around the middle of the fifteenth century in order to imitate the first great fashion porcelain in Europe. Opaline glass had his fortune in the thirties from which the Opalini collection was also taking its name born over the years from 30 to 35, called "Latimi".
It is obtained by overlapping "stamming" the low glass with a glass or more transparent and colored thin glasses, getting splendid objects with intense and bright colors. To embellish soft colors, gold and silver leaves are included on the entire surface, obtaining valuable "autorate" objects.
